Re: Question about High speed ADC

Hi,

I know that all ADI ADCs that would support 200Msps over the last 15 years have had only positive supply voltages, and therefore positive, unipolar inputs ranges.  And they are differential inputs as well.  An example is an ADC with a 1.8V supply , 2Vpp input range with a 0.9V common mode bias.  Therefore if your signal is -2.5V to +2.5V (5Vpp), you will need to attenuate the signal to 2Vp-p, convert it to a differential signal, and offset it to 0.9V.  I'm not aware of any operational amplifier that can provide all of that in one stage, you may need multiple stages of signal conditioning. to achieve your goal.

Regards,

David
