Hi Darren,

Thank you for following the steps I advised.

1) When you fed the CVBS source to the television you did not see the noise. Correct ?

Did you feed the CVBS signal through the same

2) The oscilloscope plots show high frequency content, probably color information. However the output image on the television looks black and white. Do you know why this is the case?

3)  Could you try rerunning the experiment using a different CVBS source. e.g. a DVD player.

I would like to check that the ADV7280 is being programmed correctly.

4)  Are you using "DVP Eval Latest Source 10-14-11" to program the ADV7280-M board?

5)  Are you using the latest ADV7280-M script file to program the ADV7280-M. The latest script version is version 4.1 .

6)  Could you please connect CVBS input to Ain2 input and run the autodetect script. Press Scripts -> CVBS_Autodetect -> Autodetect_CVBS_ Single_Ended_In_Ain_2_MIPI Out .

  •      Do you still see the issue?
  •      Has the INSEL register (user map, register 0x00) been set to 0x01 ?
  •       Do you see 'Finished Running Script : Autodetect_CVBS_ Single_Ended_In_Ain_2_MIPI Out' at the               bottom of the DVP Eval Latest Source window?

7)  Could you please read the User Map registers 0x10 to 0x13. This will tell if the ADV7280-M is locking correctly to the CVBS input.

Thanks and Regards,
