GuenterL,
Thank you for your help, we not just evaluate the ADV7513 we had the prototype built for other experiment too.
I did exactly as you advised, unfortunately there is no sign of video on the monitor.
I believed my video source is correct with a simple "ramp" pattern (pixel value is a counter from 0 to 255 for all RGB components) with:
- clk @65 MHz -- XGA format
Hsync:
- front porch 24 pixel clks
- sync tip (neg polarity) 136 clks
- back porch 144 clks
- 1024 pixel clks
Vsync:
- front porch3 lines
- sync tip (neg polarity) 6 lines
- back porch 26 lines
- the rest of video lines 768 lines
I used Xilinx Chipscope, all signals look fine but I only observed that the HDMI_INT is always high, it's a open drain signal I have a 4.7 K pullup resistor on this pin, is it active "high" ? Does it mean something still wrong with the programing or video source?
If I want to drive a PC Monitor with and DVI-D connector what I should set output format? same question for a HDMI to a HD TV ?
Regards,
K
