Hi.
Can you please do the following?
- Upon power-up, perform a reset(either hardware through /RESET pin, or a write operation of at least 32 serial clock cycles with DIN held high). This ensures that the serial interface is at a known state.
- Write to the ADC to place the part in continuous conversion mode. If the ADC receives the instruction correctly, DRDY should pulse at the default output data rate.
- If 1 and 2 function correctly, then try to read back a register.
The above routine ensures that the communication with the ADC is correct. If the above does not work, then ensure that the correct number of SCLK pulses is being seen by the ADC. Too many or too little SCLK pulses with cause the serial interface to go asynchronous.
