Hello Dan,

Since you are starting with a digital signal there is no place to do any analog filtering. So the PDM microphone will be filtering by nature of its design. The sampling rate is very high and the output is a 1-bit output.

The ADAU7002 will take care of filtering to the Nyquist frequency of the output sample rate so you do not need to do any further filtering.
