Re: ADV7513 problems with power up

Sorry, but when I look on that page I have no clue which file I need and what is meant with programming the ADV7513 with a script file (setting up the registers with I2C?). If it is a script that will tell which registers I am supposed to write, it would be helpful, I guess.

Input pixel bus does not seem to be an issue. When I get the ADV7513 to power up using my 'hack' by shorting the HPD pin to the 1.8 V pin next to it I get a correct colour image.

I am aware that the HPD can be supplied by the sink itself by having a receiver that loops back DDC_5V. This does not seem to be the case. When I measure the HPD pin it is 3.4 V, when connected to my TV. I will try to solder a wire to the DDC_5V. On the other hand, it should be possible to power up the chip when HPD is low, but as my first post explains I get a black and white image if I do that.

I should have explained my i2c_send routine. This is what I use for power up, for instance:

i2c_send(0x39, 0x41, 0x10);

0x39 is the address. It is 0x72, if you count the bits from [7:1]. 0x41 is the register address to write and 0x10 the value to write.
