I am using the ADAU1401A, which has a 2 channel ADC input. I need to connect a Microphone and Line Level input to this chip. The only way I could think of doing this was connecting a 3.5mm TRS Line Level to the ADC and then have separate 3.5mm TS connector connect to the same ADC inputs.
The problem obviously is that line level is typically between 0.5V-2v, which is between 100-1000 times higher than Mic level inputs. I have no experience using amplifiers so I am at a total loss when It comes to placing a gain stage on the Mic level.

Also, if you know of a better Audio chip that can do this, feel free to comment as well. It just needs to have I2S Input/Output with DSP.
