Thank you for the answer. My target frequency is 3.5GHz. Thermal issue is not our concern right now because we only like to have a proof of concept experimental demonstration. Do you think it is worth to try without grounding of the exposed ground paddle? Can you give more detail about "grounding is essential for proper operation at higher frequencies". Thank you.
