Hi z00345up,
Thank you for considering the AD9633. Indeed as you have discovered, the AD9633 is not one of the devices that is compatible with the FMC interposer (CVT-ADC-FMC-INTPZB) as-is. The problem is that with jumpers R101, R102, R103 and R104 on the interposer, you must choose to route either DCO or FCO to the FMC connector (G6/G7 as you stated), but not both.
There is a relatively easy work around, if you do not mind doing a little soldering.
On the CVT-ADC-FMC-INTPZB, solder wire-jumpers on the bottom side of the board, underneath the Tyco connectors, from:
P1:A1 to P1:C1
P1:B1 to P1:D1
This will bring FCO+ and FCO- to P1:C1 and P1:D1, which are routed to FMC connector P201:D8 and P201:D9 on the interposer FMC connector. FCO± is now available to the FPGA.
R102 and R104 should already be installed and R101 and R103 should be uninstalled in the default configuration of the interposer. This brings DCO± out to clock-compatible pins on the FMC connector (P201:G6 and P201:G7)
I'm sorry about the inconvience. Please let me know if you need more information regarding this.
Thank you.
Doug
