Thank you for your feedback on this. Two quick things:
- We have had a pretty wide diversity of opinions offered on this function. If I understand you correctly, you only want to investigate a persistent issue, while avoiding those that show up "once in a while." Is that correct?
- This bit is not longer used in our new IMU product families. The primary reason for eliminating this bit was that we wanted more bits to cover actual sensor data (new data bit is gone too). Since this bit is not longer available, monitoring these flags requires a read of the register(s).
